Nina Hons, formerly Nina Kedzierska, is an international artist who began earning her livelihood producing original art in her home studio in Rozyny near Gdansk, Poland as early as 1971. Nina has produced high quality artworks for individuals and large commercial companies in Poland, Germany, Norway, Finland, and the United States. Her original home studio in Rozyny, Poland often entertained local guests as a home studio gallery. A portfolio catalogue published in 1997 included comments by local art critics and journalists that were presented in Polish, German and English translations.

Nina produces handwoven sisal tapestries by painstakingly weaving dyed colored strands of sisal and wool inside a simple wooden frame. The wood frame is entirely free of any moving mechanical parts or loom type apparatus.

Nina Kedzierska began her art education at an early age and soon received much acclaim as a tapestry artist with few peers who have matched her unique abilities. The art of handwoven wool gobelins (tapestries) have a long tradition as a Polish folk craft. Applying her unique perception and artistic talents to the making of gobelins with colored sisal and wool, Nina elevated this folk art to another level.
